I went on several tours and as soon as I got to SVSU, I knew that was my school. I stopped going on yours after that

Research online first. When I started researching online, I went for curriculum, what campus could offer, infrastructure, or anything else. I'd strip their website up and down and talk to students I could find on Facebook. Then if you're still in doubt between 2+, a visit may be a great thing to do! 
Of course that's assuming the campus are far from your home. If they're close to you, or a reasonable trip away from you and you're able to do it, then I see no harm in visiting all of them.

Do some research online to narrow down your search field and then when you have some “I’d like to go here” schools, go do the college tours. Doesn’t matter how many, but keep in mind your/your parents’ money and the potential travel expenses. Don’t make 3 separate trips across or out of country when you can just do it once lol.
