I shave mine with a razor. Just be careful. works on shirts and pants too.

I bought a fabric shaver for less than $10 on amazon and it works wonderfully. No more pilled fabric!  I use it all the time on everything, especially my daughter’s clothes.

Maybe try using a razor just like you would shave your legs.. just don’t be too rough or hard you may tear/rip it or make a hole.

I have this little handheld, battery operated gadget. It gets those little pieces off fabric like couches, headboards, also works on clothes. I think I got it from bed bath and beyond. Google fabric shaver.
