preeclampsia

so I've had swelling in my legs/feet for about 4 days now. i have been on my feet and doing a lot around the house, I've noticed it gets worse when I do too much. it didnt hurt at all until yesterday, very tight feeling. i haven't had any protein in my urine at any of my doctor visits, I know thats a symptom but I am afraid I have preeclampsia. i am going to ask at my next appt but anyone have/had this? can you share your experience so I know what to expect if I do have it?
