How long after standing on own without pulling up did your baby start walking?

Mine just stood up in the middle of the room today! Then got so excited she did it about 40 more times! She’s taking 3-4 steps here and there and wondering when others typically start walking after this happens? Thanks!

Within 3 days she was walking across the room. My daughter has no fear though, like to a fault 😂

My son could stand up by himself at 12 months. He only just started taking steps on his own at 15 months.

My son didn't stand up without pulling up first. He was walking for a month before he stood up without pulling up.

A few weeks at most. Once they can stand in the middle of the room, they have all the tools needed so it’s just a matter of confidence to take that first step. If your baby isn’t already taking a few steps, she’ll probably be walking across the whole room very shortly!
