I had post partum depression that lead to full blown depression. I've been battling for 10 years. For me I'm more anxious and depressed being a Stay at home mom, I find peace when there's a ba l.j ance of work life and home life.

I’m not sure what the statistics are, but yes. There have been studies that show that stay at home moms are more likely to report depression and feelings of sadness and anger. Women with lack of support are at higher risk and women who have it run in their families are at higher risk as well. Anyone, working or not can experience PPD, but there’s definitely been a higher number reported by stay at home moms.

I said no because as a mom that has experienced both going back to work after baby is born and staying home, I had PPD both times. I don't feel like one gives you a greater chance than another.
