What to feed 8mo old

Question

My daughters been eating baby purée jar food along with Breast milk since 5months. She’s now 8months old and seems over the thin baby food but I don’t know what to give her next. 
People say eggs 
But I feel like going from purée to eggs is a huge step. Is it? Tia.

Cooked and mashed sweet potato, mashed potatoes, mashed banana, mashed avocado, you can do this first so it’s still lumpy and mushy but not quite a purée. Then maybe try soft things like pasta, scrambled eggs, puffs, quartered blueberries, crackers that break easily such as ritz.

I just gave my daughter whatever I ate but in small pieces. She loves avocados, zucchini, bananas, toast, cheerios, Mac n cheese, pasta, hamburger meat... anything!

I skipped puree and went straight to finger foods. eggs are a good start

We have started giving some finger foods like really well cooked broccoli and little baby corn snacks that melt in the mouth.
