Metronidazole?

I have been prescribed metronidazole for what is suspected to be BV. Have any of y'all taken it by mouth and how did yalls body react to it?(any yeast infections?)

All I can say is that shii is nasty af.. ugh. Hate it!!! But my body didn’t have any issue expect dark urine

This might sound weird but eat yogurt. it has active (good bacteria) in it and as the medication is taking all the bacteria out you still want good bacteria so I'd suggest eating yogurt.

It turned my stomach when I had to take it. After about three days I didn't feel the effects so much. I also had BV last year. I actually passed out at work in the bathroom after throwing up my brains all over the stalls floor. Hubby and I went to the ER it was BV... boy did he pick on me 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

You may get a yeast infection because Metronidazole is an antibiotic but that’s not abnormal. The most important thing to remember with metronidazole is that you cannot consume alcohol. Wine beer and don’t forget somethings contain alcohol that you don’t realize such as cough syrup.  So be careful.

I have taken it before and my body reacted perfectly fine and I didn't have any problems with a yeast infection after.
