Multiple Birth controls???

This may be a silly question... but is it possible to be on more than one birth control? 
For example. Could I get an IUD and be on the combination pill?

You can always take your prescribed method of birth control and have your significant other wear a condominium and pull out

If ur on a progestin only method (such as the implant, shot, or an iud) & experiencing really long and/or heavy periods, then a doctor may prescribe a low-dose birth-control pill for a certain amount of time to help lessen or stop the bleeding. Other than for that purpose, there’s absolutely no reason to be on two different hormonal methods at once & a doctor likely wouldn’t approve of it. If ur on a hormonal method of birth control & want extra protection, then u can simply use condoms, cervical sponges, and/or spermicides.

No doctor would do that especially if the IUD is hormonal. You don’t need to sets of hormones screwing with your body.
