Would you consider taking your 1 and a half year old to the movie theatre?

I’ve been wanting to take my 7 Y/O to see Incredibles 2, but I have a 1  1/2 Y/O that is stopping me from taking him because I’m scared he will cry or scream the whole time we’re there. He’s super attached to me, so i don’t want to leave him.

I only voted yes because my son is obsessed with movies and becomes entranced by them. He is so good in general though. I would say you have to look at the individual child and make a decision on that.

Took her to see the incredibles last weekend. She did good overall and really liked the movie. She was getting fussy at the end because she was ready for a nap.

I voted no because I have sensitive ears and how loud the theater was while growing up it always hurt my ears . So I don’t want my son (if he has them also) to have his ears hurt plus if it’s not tom and jerry on tv he won’t watch it 😂 (tom and jerry was on)

We have something called "Stars and Strollers" and it's showing for parents with young ones. If you have some near you, it's a great way to introduce public movies and see how theyll do.

I think it depends on your baby. I’ve taken mine a couple of times right about when I know he will take a nap. He will watch about twenty mins of the movie then sleep through the rest of it!

we took our son to a kids play that was about an hour long. he definitely got antsy and I had to have snacks on hand but he did great! play might be more engaging than a movie though 💁
