Has anyone else named their daughter after themselves?

If so what has your experience been so far. I decided last minute to name my daughter Libby after me. I’m Libby Anne and she is Libby Lou, we call her Lulu. Is there anything that has gotten confused from having the same name? Did she grow up to enjoy or resent it? Did she go by a nickname or go by the actual name?

Hi! I don't have children yet but my cousin was named after her mom, my aunt. She has never complained of it and she goes by a nickname whereas my aunt goes by her full name. Aaand then my cousin named her daughter after the both of them lol so technically there's 3. Libby is a cute name btw

I share a first name with my mom, I grew up going by my middle name! It is weird sometimes when I get called by my first name.. lol I look for my mom before I respond to the name. But I don't mind being named after her at all.

Fathers have been naming their sons the same name for centuries and people managed to figure it out!  I say go for it!!

I share my name with my MIL (what are the chances lol) but I don't like it. whenever someone says "Lisa" we both turn. kinda annoying.
