I went in for my 32 week checkup and my blood pressure was 156/89 so my OB is having me start taking Labatelol and I'm not supposed to go back to work.

It's kind of terrifying me to think about because I'm allergic to magnesium. My OB said we'll have to use an "old school" method to prevent seizures but they're not as effective. It's good to know but scary 😭😭😭

He's hoping the BP medication will keep me stable for the next month, so he wants me to make it to 36 weeks at least? My first was born at 34.5. She was perfect except for a little jaundice. I hope we make it at least that long.
