D and E hemorrhage

Ladies,

I lost my first pregnancy to miscarriage at 16 weeks. I had the d and e on Friday June 15th with light bleeding and no cramping over the weekend.

Yesterday I noticed small clots and more bleeding like what you get the first couple days of your period. I wasn’t alarmed as I read sometimes the bleeding increases after 3-5 days.

Today though at work (desk job), I started cramping and changing the pad every 2 hours vs previously 4-6 hours. After lunch I stood up and there was blood everywhere through the pad, clothes, down my legs. I was passing massive clots.

Went to the ob, ultrasound showed my uterus really hasn’t shrunk since the procedure and is full of clots. I was told I’m bleeding and need an emergent d and c tonight. Currently in pre op and terrified.

Anyone have a similar experience??
