Skipping periods?

So I had a miscarriage and had to have a D&C; and at my follow up appointment my doctor gave me birth control. I take microgestin fe 1/20. I haven't had a period since before I was pregnant, which now has been 5 months. I've been on this birth control for 2 months now and still haven't had a period. Should I be worried and call my doctor or has anyone else had this happen? I know I'm not pregnant because I test regularly just to make sure.

I am sorry for your loss love and I myself have never experienced anything like what you have gone through. I watched a Dr. Phil episode and I think a doctor had said that it is actually impossible to be pregnant for up to 6 weeks after a miscarriage. I think you should see a doctor love, you don't want to get hurt or anything. All the love and luck hun

If you have any questions or concerns it is always a good idea to call and ask your doctor. They have a pretty good idea of how the birth control method will affect your system
