My friend invited me to her hen weekend... attending will be herself, her bridesmaids and myself(she didn’t even make me a bridesmaid, but that’s fine). Anyways, her hen weekend will be abroad for a couple of nights. I apologised that I couldn’t attend because I have a baby who is barely five months old and still nursing, I am on maternity leave and it’s unpaid so where will I get money for abroad trip? I explained all this to her and she called me selfish. She said that she attended my hen night, but I can’t for her. First of all, she was a bridesmaid for me, my hen night was just a night out for drinks, which I paid for... she has asked me to “lose her number” and she said a lot of horrible things to me because I can’t attend. Where have I gone wrong? What did I do wrong? I value our friendship a lot for it to end like this
