He lied....

Hi I need some advice please. 2 weeks ago I asked my boyfriend if his feelings changed for me and he said no and that he was acting different because he was going through alot. Yesterday I found out that his feelings for me actually did change and when I asked him about what he told me 2 weeks ago, he said he lied because he "knows how I can be". By this he means that I would be emotional and upset because of that. Like who wouldn't if they love someone and found out that they didn't feel the same? I honestly feel so broken and hurt and the worse part is that he lied. If he was honest from 2 weeks ago I would have been okay but to think he lied has me feeling crushed. What do I do? How do I handle this?
