Hair cut?

My son is now 10 1/2 months old and his hair is starting to get quite long. Has anyone else taken their baby for a haircut yet? I'm nervous about it because he's not going to sit still. Anyone have experience with their babies getting the first haircut?

I'm  a hairstylist,  depending on what style you want for your child  makes a difference  if hes not sitting  still yet. I personally  refuse children who want a scissor  cut and arent sitting well.  Is it possible  that you can  snip the long ends until he's able to sit ? I have a girl,  and I dont plan on cutting until its  extremely  long,  Blunt haircut lines i feel make a child  look like dumb and dumber since realistically you  wont be styling it every day.

Our son is almost 10 months and we get asked constantly when we are going to cut it...bugs us!!! Hubby is bald so he wants to wait. We love our sons rockstar hair that’s different every day

Well we did it! He sat on my lap and was as still as could be the whole time. He didn't mind the clippers at all.

I had to start cutting my son's hair at 5 months because it was so long it was in his face. I did it the first 4 times by myself because I could just trim it but he got his first real hair cut at 9 months. He sat on his daddy's lap during the cut and it was fine. No crying and I kept him distracted or head moving where she needed me too.

I haven’t yet.. my sons hair isn’t thick.. but its over his ears and the ends are curling. Idk if I should just trim it or go somewhere... I don’t want to mess up if I do it! 🤔
