Had a fetal echo on Monday the 18th and the results were less than desirable. My mfm dr thinks that my sweet Thomas has a hole in his heart. Which is totally fixable! It’s just really scary. I’m being referred to a pediatric cardiologist that will determine whether I have my baby in the hospital my OB delivers in or if I have to travel to the hospital the cardiologist is so they have better access to my baby and I don’t have to be away from him in another town. Another discovery was made at the same appointment when they went to measure my cervix. They found out my cervix is shortening and is less than half the length it should be at 22 -23 weeks. They’ve put me on progesterone and are trying to determine if they want to do a cerclage. This has been a very long journey and I hate to say this but I wish it was October and I was having him already. Here’s a belly update and a cute profile pic for some smiles though ☺️
