Are ultrasounds very accurate??

Keep in mind there could be something in baby’s face that the tech couldn’t push all the way through without cutting the nose off. You can’t really isolate the baby. It’s really tricky. My girl had her hand and cord in her face so some of them look like her face is distorted.

My tech also told me that certain angles will make the nose look really wide. No worries! Baby will be beautiful !

Lol were worrying about the same thing! My baby's nose looks kinda big along with her lips. I doubt these pics are fully accurate 😂❤️

ummm I had to Google this specifically. my search said "3D ultrasound exaggerate baby's nose?" lol. the answer is yes. there's a whole website for side by sides of the ultrasound and the real baby once its born and the ultrasound really exaggerates noses and lips. I feel bad for all those moms that are like "omg look at her lips!"

Could just be shadows? On our little girls ultrasound it looks like someone gave her a big black eye and it’s bulging out. The tech didn’t say anything about it besides her eyes were open so 🤷🏻‍♀️ assuming shadows?
