Latex Allergy?

I think I might have a latex allergy because when my boyfriend uses condoms they leave a weird tingly feeling afterwards. It doesn’t leave irritation, just a strange feeling. I haven’t had problems with latex gloves or anything else besides the condoms. Could it be the sensitive vaginal area?

I say yes cuz I don't necessarily break out but after using condoms I feel irritated and swollen and it stays like that for a few days. I assume the same thing for myself but I'm not sure...

Have you tried other condom brands?

It could be a couple of things, maybe a visit to your doctor would help? If you are to search forever, that will save you time and pain I guess.

it could be the lube they put on the condoms.  also if you have any other health conditions that could have something to do with it.  for example, I get sore from having sex and the arousal process itself causes pain.  the best thing would be to see an allergist to be tested for a latex allergy and go from there.

It could be a latex allergy, but you’d need to be tested for it. I’ve heard of some condom brands using spermicide, but I don’t know which ones they are. You could be having a reaction to that. Or truthfully, it could be a case of not having enough lube.
