Did having children change your relationship?

If it did, how? For the good or bad?

Yes. At the moment I wouldn't say for the better. I think it's his families involvement that doesn't help the situation, and he usually sides with them. As per in-law style they think they have rights to my son (now 3 months) take him off me whenever they want a hold, wake him when then want a hold, buy him ridiculous outfits for their entertainment. I don't get the back up I deserve from my OH. Sadly I've seen a side to him I didn't think I would. Unless it gets better in time then no, not changed for the better.

I say kinda because it really didn't change our relationship but it changed my husband for the best. He's still not mature but he's almost mature lol he's gotten so much better.

It’s made us become closer together as a couple. We bond over the kids while bonding with the kids. We’ve become a team that can conquer anything together and no we are by no means perfect but I love that man with all of my being and the life we are creating for ourselves and our children.

Kind of. Do I wish my husband and I had spent more time as a couple before we started a family? Sure, but at the same time I don't feel like I'm missing out as much as I thought I would. Having our son brought us closer than I thought it would and seeing my husband become a dad has made me love him so much more than I already have.
