A Day Late and A Negative Result
Hi everyone. So I have an 8 year old daughter and a almost 1 year old son. My husband and I are trying for one more and then it’s snip snip after that. We’ve never had to try before because my daughter was a surprise from a previous relationship (my husband ended up adopting her). Our son was the product of our honeymoon where we weren’t trying but weren’t preventing either. We were abstinent 11 months before we got married (so it was go big or go home 😉). So now we want 1 more. I can’t complain cause I see some women on here trying for months & years on their first and dealing with infertility. I do have PCOS and was diagnosed 10 months before our son was conceived, so I know he’s a 1 in a million baby. I just assumed we were both really fertile because before our 11 months of abstinence we were active for about 8 months and our faith kept eating at us both, but I was on birth control. Any who, now we are trying and again I have no room to complain because I already have kids, but this TTC thing sucks!!!! We just decided last month and I kinda knew we missed the window because I already ovulated because of my mucus. But still took and early pregnancy test in hopes and it was negative. So this window of opportunity we had sex every day. Took early pregnancy tests again and it was negative. I’m 1 day late so we took a test and still negative, does this mean I’m not and I should stop taking tests and wait for my period??? I think my period is gonna come but then I have nausea and cravings but that could all be in my head. Ugh again TTC sucks!!! I’m sorry if you have been someone who has been trying for months and years. I feel I don’t have a right to complain, but when you see that negative when trying it breaks your heart.
