Ultrasound today!!! Heartbeat?

went for my 1st ultrasound today. doctor said I need to come back in 2 weeks to see if they can trace a heartbeat. i am trying my best to remain calm. i am currently 6 weeks and 1 day. any experience with this?

you're still early.  my doc wont even see you until 8 weeks

My friend works in sonography and she said to not even have an US until 8 weeks as it’s too hard to hear a heartbeat before then!
