Castor oil to induce labor??

What do you think? I forgot to ask my doctor about it the other day and keep seeing mixed reviews about it.

My friend used it when she was pregnant with her son. It ended up giving her contractions and what she called “lava bum.” She still had to be induced and then ended up having a C-section 24 hours later. Her son was fine. However, she said it was the worst birthing experience ever.

Some say it’s safe some say it’s not truth is no one knows all I know is I’ve done it with my first child but ended up being induced so I don’t know if it worked or not and I tried it with pregnancy #2 at 38 which brought on contractions however the contractions stopped after 3 hours that’s when I took half the bottle so I decided to take the whole bottle 3 days later and regretted it due to the shits and hemorrhoids. I’d never take the whole bottle again but like I said for me it did bring on contractions
