I am very interested in getting the Nexplanon implant. I am 17 and sexually active, have only been sexually active with one guy since we have been together since I was 13 and we became sexually active when I became 17. We use condoms and we absolutely do not have sex when I ovulate. I have really bad periods, about 7-9 days one month then the next 11-14 days with about 25 days in between, I cramp horribly, have horrible migraines, bleed blood clots 90% of the time, and my breast hurts so bad if anyone bumps them by accident (I play sports) I will have shooting/burning pain in my chest. I go regularly to the ob/gyn. I have never tried birth control before, because I have a low fertility rate. I just would like to hear the pros and con and true reviews on the Nexplanon implant, or maybe other birth control suggestions. My ob/gyn said she would not recommend the IUD because my fertility is so low already that may destroy the little fertile eggs I have left, and the pill wouldn’t fit my life style.
