Should I switch to Nexplanon?

I take combination birth control pills. I have for almost 3 years now. But I recently had a rough pregnancy scare, and I want to feel more secure because I'm too paranoid to even have sex (although I want to).

I have been strongly considering Nexplanon because there's no room for human error, and I've had to switch pills multiple times for their weird symptoms.

Despite the chances that it could go badly, do you think as far as EFFECTIVENESS goes it would be a good transition?
