Is pda too much?

Today me and my boyfriend went to a public pool and he had his arms wrapped around me. A couple of older adults stared at us but this one guy was so disturbed that he felt the need to tell us we were not at home and in a public areaand shouldn’t be doing that. We honestly just laughed it off because how is our pda affecting anyone. He then went to the lifeguard and reported us. We just decided to leave... is PDA really that serious to other people??

I’m not a fan of making out in public but having his arms wrapped around you I wouldn’t even consider as PDA so don’t worry about it

Depends on how bad it is and it also depends on how young the couple is. For example, if you’re around the age of 14 they may have felt like it was inappropriate for that age.
Having your arms around each other is ok in my book.
On the other hand, seeing a couple 100% making out and grabbing each other is a different story.

I think just having ur arms around someone is fine. I would understand the guys frustration if u guys were making out, especially cause there could be kids around. But u wern't, sk I think the guy was overreacting
