Avoiding the in laws! 😂

I feel a but bad, but only a bit. My in laws have asked us over for a bbq. They have 2 jumpy, loud dogs, they all smoke and they just take my baby from me (even when he's sleeping) because they treat him like a doll. He's only 3 months old and is still attached to me (I'm more attached to him haha). My mum doesn't get to see him as much because she lives further away and doesn't like to interfere like they do. Anyway I've had to double book myself and my son just so we don't have to go to the whole bbq and stay at my mums for the day (maybe turn up at the end). I know people will think I'm being childish but if they were your in laws you'd understand!!! I just can't stand it when people think just because they're related to him they can take him whenever they want and dress him in stupid clothes/hats for their amusement.
