What days should I have sex to guarantee higher chance of conception? This will be my 4th month of trying.

The OBGYN Dr. told me every other day of the month and the nurse stated to have sex on the day of ovulation and the next day. Sperm can live inside of you up to 3-5 days. Therefore the days before ovulation could help your chances also. Having sex the day of ovulation means fresh sperm has a chance also. Having sex the day after ovulation apparently is because the egg is typically viable for 24 hours.

Last month i tried the night before ovulation and didnt on the actual day. I wanted too but we got busy and it didn’t happen. But i am now currently five and a half months pregnant. So the day before worked for me. Also i made myself orgasm afterwards as I heard that helps. Good luck.
