Heart pounding in early pregnancy?

Has anyone else felt their heart pounding when pregnant? I'm 5 weeks so I know it's early, but last night while I was laying down my heart was pounding...not beating faster necessarily, just almost heavier? Is this normal?

I had light heart palpitations for the first week or so, that’s about it. It’s normal as your blood volume is increasing to have pounding, headaches, and dizziness. Just drink plenty of water.

Yes palpitations are common. Maybe check your blood pressure. It is more common for your blood pressure to drop but you will want to be careful if it gets too high
