I was in labor a total of 52 hours. I believe I was dilating but not effacing so they kept sending me home. On the third day of me going to the hospital they kept me and I had my daughter the next morning. During delivery, my uterus deflated and the had to finish getting her out since her head was already crowned. I lost 4 pints of blood and got a transfusion with 4 bags and 2 bags of plasma. My bp drop to 60/38(?) still groggy but it was around that when they told me I almost had to have a hysterectomy to save my life. Thankfully my uterus kicked back up again but now that my husband and I are trying for another I'd like to hear stories or advice on second birth after PPH.
