For those who have miscarried AFTER 8 weeks, was it a missed miscarriage?

In other words, did the baby stop growing before 8 weeks, and you found out after, or did they pass away after 8 weeks?

I had mmc at 7 weeks 3 days. However I was dated at 12 weeks. X

my baby died at 5 weeks but my body carried until 11 when I got rushed in for surgery.

back in 2011 i was supposed to be 15weeks belly was growing so we thought everything was great one night i used the bathroom and saw some light pink spotting just when i wiped i told my now exhusband and we went to e.r that hospital was the worst i ever went i had no blood work done bo ultrasound dr just checked my cervix and that was it. next day my dr sent me to get an emergency scan to another hospital and that is where we found out that our babies heart stopped at 7weeks i decided to let them pass by their own took three days for everything to pass it was my worst experience but i got the chance to see my little shrimp.
