good afternoon ladies

Hey ladies i have a quick question. . So lately i stopped buying the clearblue advance ovulation test kit because i wouldn't ovulating. So my doctor put me on metformin on this cycle hopefully i have some good news. . But she told me i can check my ovulation peak but doing the thermometer method with my pee. i asked her to do had to be a certain kinda? she said a regular thermometer that we use to check our temp. would work!! Have any one of you ladies tried a regular thermometer and got good ovulation results? and what temperature is it supposed to be?
