Am I the only one not getting maternity pics done, don’t get me wrong I really want to get them done but not able to.

Nope, same. My pregnancy will be documented through selfies and pics with my hubby snapped on a cell phone. I’m ok with it. I think maternity pics are gorgeous but I just don’t have the money to spend and I would want a really good photographer if I had it done. I doubt I would hang up a maternity photo in my house so it just didn’t seem like an investment we wanted to make. Maybe next time!

I only got them done because my friend is a photographer and did them for free. She also says she plans on stealing my newborn for a photo shoot. She primarily does weddings but is trying to expand her clientele and portfolio.

I’ve never wanted maternity pics. We’ve taken plenty of pictures during each pregnancy and I just don’t know what I would do with professional ones. I don’t need pregnant pictures of me hanging on the wall or sent out in holiday cards or any of the other things I use professional pictures for. I’d rather get family photos and newborn photos. Pretty sure my kids are cuter on the outside than in. 😉

I've been trying to get mines done for a MONTH. But the weather hasn't cooperated even once, it's been a super rainy and cloudy June here... So sadly, as much as I want them I wont be able to have them. I'm between crying and not caring... hormones lol

I paid for them to get done with my first but actually had my cousin do them yesterday. We are getting her a gift of appreciation but didn’t want to spend all the $$ we did the first time. Going to save it for the newborn pictures.

Yes the outcome of the photos is beautiful, but get the right lighting, pretty background and doll yourself up a bit - anyone can take a photo of you on a phone for free!

I’m not! I’d rather spend the money on cute newborn pictures than pictures of me that I may or may not like looking so big lol!!
