So I went for a follicular ultrasound Friday and the doctor wasn’t very helpful and didn’t really explain anything. She just looked at me afterwards and said” well this isn’t good. That’s not what I want to see” and asked “so what do y’all want to do”. I wasn’t really sure how to respond to her so I asked if we needed to continue to monitor my follicles for growth and she scheduled for me to come back Monday.

Basically what I noticed on the scan on my own was that I didn’t have any follicles on one ovary and only a few on the other. According to her they weren’t growing at the rate that she would like and were measuring around 11. Whatever that means.

Has anyone experienced slow follicle growth?? If so what happened? What questions did you ask? Did you take estrogen or supplements??

I get so frustrated with this woman every time I have to see her because she is SO NOT HELPFUL!!

Anyways, thanks for any advice!! Going on two years ttc and starting to lose hope that anything will work.
