TMI! Is it close to labor???

Question

Within the past 24 hours, I’ve been having diarrhea to the point of wanting to go to the hospital but don’t want to make a blank trip if it is t anything major. Is labor imminent?

Answer

I had diarrhea for a week and my OB said it is the body cleansing out and preparing for labor. There is a hormone weirdly when you have diarrhea that is part of the process!

This is happening to me right now my midwife says it sounds like dehydration I also have cramps she said drink two large glasses of water and she will call me in two hours I’m currently 37 weeks and four days.

Keep hydrated mumma! Who knows if it’s the start. I had a bad spell of this a few weeks ago and nothing happened. Call your midwife team for sure and they’ll best advice you x
