when I tried to breast feed mine would latch but not suckle, no clue how to fix it, had to start with spoon feeding him breast milk then try to latch again, lactation consults at hospital said he was a natural latched and they didn't even see babies do that good at 6 weeks, his only problem was he wouldn't suck, then after we got home I started pumping and he would with the bottle but he was getting sick, I had a good diet then but craved sugar from not being able to eat it whole pregnant because so got sock, tried to use formula but still same problem, switched to low lactose and he was fine, quit throwing up etc. but no matter what in the beginning when he would latch he would give me the same ( so why isn't my food coming out yet ma?) literally, every time. because he was used to having to spoon feed in the hospital because they were pushing me so hard to feed him when he wasn't really hungry, if he was hungry at first he would latch and suckle but he just wast hungry every 4 hours at first
