It is looking like I might get induced this week due to low amniotic fluid. I went in today for decreased fetal movement. Fortunately baby’s heart rate was great but we didn’t see a ton of movement. I just barely had enough movement to be sent home but the Doctor was worried about fluids and wants me to get it checked again Tuesday. The baby is big on top of this, and she seemed to really be thinking about keeping me and inducing me tonight. I’m 39w4d.

This is my first and induction definitely wasn’t the game plan so I’m trying to wrap my head around it. Anything different I should bring to the hospital or just be aware of? I was also hoping for an unmedicated birth, still hoping not to get an epi so I can move around.
