We just moved into a new unit in our condo. We know the upstairs neighbors, very nice and we are friends with them. However they are both on the heavier side and all we can hear all day and all night long is the creaking of the floors. They always said “if were too loud, just take a broom and bang on the ceiling” but I don’t want to be that person! I understand it is not their fault, it’s the thin floor boards and walls. Do we suck it up for the next year until we can move out, do I say something to our landlord? Nothing can probably be done, it’s just a nuisance at this point.
