My boyfriend and I will be TTC in almost 4 years.   I have a 9 month old baby boy from a previous relationship so that's why we're waiting.   We chose this name for a girl but we're thinking of a boys name later on.
Islay is pronounced eye-luh. There is also Islay Lyn Willow.

Not trying to be rude but A lot of people don’t know how to pronounce Isla, i think adding the Y at the end makes it even more confusing and her name will be butchered even worse, just my opinion.

I feel like this will be pronounced like the words "I slay". Adding a y to Isla would change the whole pronunciation,  I would think.  I'm not sure why the y would be silent.  Just plain Isla is very pretty!
