For a while now, I’ve been trying to get more involved with the church. I only wanted to have something positive to turn to. Hopefully, if I ever am blessed with children of my own, it would be something positive for them as well. We talked to a Preacher or Pastor (I don’t know the difference) about reciting our wedding vows in his church. He wanted to do a little premarital counseling first. We agreed. He says no sex. Ok. He wants us to live in separate homes until the wedding.. I reminded him that I’m a full time student and have a lot of medical bills that we are trying to pay. He says we can’t use the church. It’s ok. We have other venues.. I’m just offended a little. Oh well. I guess we aren’t good enough for the “house of God.”
