Will they let me on the day?

I have an early pregnancy ultra sound In a week but it's not the internal ultrasound. I would prefer to have more accurate results do you think they will let me have the internal one if I ask on the day ? ..

Anything less than 10 weeks is normally done transvaginally anyway, so if you’re before this point it will be internal. After that you can get pretty accurate results from an abominable ultrasound

It would have to be ordered that way by your doctor. If you doctor sent them an order for just an abdominal ultrasound then that's all they can do. If you really think you need to I would call your doc and ask them about it

Mine was abdominal at 8 weeks

You mean a transvaginal one? Depending on how early you are they might need to do it transvaginally. They didn’t notify me ahead of time when I had one done; the tech just said she needed to do it after the abdominal one didn’t work as well at 9 weeks.

That's the thing have no clue if there is even one in there .. so I'm a little surprised they even want to bother with a regular ultra sound. I would prefer the transviginal ultra sound for sure. 
I won't go in to too much detail but basically I am beginning to think I am having an awful phantom pregnancy. And the doctors want to lay this to rest for me x
