I think I have BV. I go see my dr on July 9th. How should I bring that up to him?

Called my dr and he told me to get monistat! So I am currently on day 2 of that waiting to see progress tomorrow!

Can you not go earlier? I just got tested yesterday and it’s being treated as thrush for now as were waiting on results. I wouldn’t wait, it could be resolved before the 9th if you go now!

I’ve had BV before it’s terrible and honestly i wouldn’t wait till July 9th I would go to the hospital and get it taken care of. They’ll give you antibiotics and you’ll feel much better in a week.

I would just ask for an exam because you think you might have an infection. They’ll do the exam, swab you & have the results pretty quick in office. Plus, if they prescribe you antibiotics or some medicated suppositories, it doesn’t take long to clear up.

I would just tell him that I think i got bv because of whatever symptoms you got he will test you my doc just gave me meds... didn't even test me for it
