Anyone else feeling they may have a July baby?

I’m due tomorrow and feeling no different. Baby seems quite happy in there so starting to accept the fact this baby might be a 41 or even 42 weeker. Baby’s head down but haven’t had a midwife appointment since 36 weeks so no idea if engaged or not. Belly doesn’t seem to have dropped. Anyone else in the same position? I really don’t want to be induced so happy to let the baby come when it’s is ready.

Me! 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️ I was due yesterday, had a doctors appointment this morning. They did two NST and a fluid check as well as a cervix check. Baby passed the nst and fluid check and my cervix is COMPLETELY shut. I was told at my last appointment they would schedule an induction this one. But because I’ve had such an easy uncomplicated pregnancy they won’t induce unless I go past 42 weeks.... the two doctors I saw today said I was NOWHERE near going into labor 🙃🙃 so Monday I have to do all these tests again if I dont(which I probably won’t) go into labor before then. Apparently my hips hurting and just being uncomfortable isn’t reason enough to induce either 🤦🏼‍♀️

It’s so dull having to wait but if you go into spontaneous labour then it’s less likely you’ll need intervention. Fingers crossed baby turns up soon for you! 🙏

Same! I’m due tomorrow and for the past three weeks I’ve had no cervical changes and no feeling so chin coming out any time soon 🙄 hoping for good news at my appointment today but I’m not counting on it. Good luck to you!

Yep I’m due tomorrow. My first came a little early but second came a week late so not getting my hopes up but my last was crooked so I’ve been doing the miles circuit everyday and chiro and this little nugget is head down thank goodness

Im due today and I’m wondering too. Funny because when we FIRST found out our due date I said to my husband “oh maybe we’ll have a Canada day baby!” but he didn’t think I’d last that long lol. Now we’ll see. Midwife appointment yesterday showed that I was only 0.5cm dilated. With our first I was 3cm dilated and 50% effaced at 39 weeks and she was born at 40+6. I’ve been having lots of Braxton Hicks and this baby is definitely very low (the midwife could easily feel the head when she was checking my cervix) but I’ve had nothing to indicate labour. I don’t mind being overdue but I’m trying for a VBAC and the bigger the baby the riskier so I am conscious that I don’t want to go tooo long. All that being said, I trust my body and my baby and my midwife and I know that these last few nights of sleep are precious so I’m enjoying them!

Due date buddy!! I am due tomorrow too! My little guy is loving life on the inside too. No signs of his wanting to arrive anytime soon. Fingers crossed for us both, these babies want to arrive soon!!

With my first, she started to arrive at 42+ 1 weeks. Forebag of water broke. I wouldn’t dilate. Had to be induced. 24 hours later that didn’t work and I had to have a c-section because she was in distress. I wish all you mommas still waiting good luck and that you have a smooth birth. I am still hoping for VBAC with this one. I have until Monday. Good luck everyone. 😊

My due date is Friday and I’m having inconsistent contractions. I have my next appointment Friday and can’t wait to see if I’m dilated! Everyday I’m getting more and more impatient! I’m really hoping he comes before July but on Friday we will schedule my induction for if I go past 41 weeks. My previous kids came at 40+1 and 39+5 with no previous signs so I’m hoping he will come soon!
