I finally figured out why my baby always cries when i try to feed him and refuses to eat

He wants me to hold him while feeding. Ive been feeding laying down since birth for many reasons choking being one of them. But now that hell only latch when i hold him hes back to choking constantly. And i know i can catch my letdowns but hell still choke and wont relatch if i u latch him to catch it. Any suggestions?
