best friend or bf?

so, my sister has a wedding coming up and I'm a bridesmaid. I have a plus one and I can't decide to take my best friend or my boyfriend. The only thing is my boyfriend has to sit with my parents and I don't want him feeling awkward when I'm not around. but if I take my best friend it won't be awkward because my parents love her. But then during slow dances I won't have him to dance with. But I will have my best friend for the fast dances I just don't know what to do.
