Confusing boy

So I like this guy, and since it’s summer we can’t rly hang out as much but we text a lot sometimes.... I feel like he likes me but it’s hard to tell like some days he will be all nice and cute and then others he will leave me on Read and will never text me for days and kinda ghost me. So I get rly mixed signals and idk should I just try to drop this crush? It’s just getting kinda annoying not knowing. Like I know he knows I like him cause I make it very apparent ugh idk help pls😂
