Best birth control while breastfeeding?

I got pregnant on the pill once, so I'm apprehensive to try the mini pill. But I'm also pretty scared of IUDs/implants. What's the best choice?

If you take the pill at the same time every day (set an alarm), it should be quite effective. 
I like the pill.

I'm 2 months in on the mini pill and so far so good! I'm like you and the other options freak me out and hubby hates condoms so...I just make sure I take the pill at the same time every night and if I'm off by more than a couple hours we wait 48 hours to have sex again.

Liz loved my implant after my first. I had almost no side effects. I plan on getting it again, I just had my second 2 weeks ago

I had an IUD after my first and will get one again soon now that I’ve had my second. Like all forms of birth control, people have really mixed experiences, so you’ll hear happy and horror stories.
I had Mirena and will get another. Part of what I loved about it is that I didn’t menstruate. I didn’t cramp when it went in, spotted for a day or so, and was pregnant within a month when I had it out. 
The Paraguard lasts longer and has no hormones, but my midwife said more people have menses and heavier cycles compared to Mirena.
I used to use a pill contraceptive, but between sleep deprivation and nursing and going back to work, I didn’t want to have to remember to take something at a specific time.
