Work rant

Any other ladies here Personal Support workers or Health Care Aids and pregnant? I’m a psw and almost 18 weeks pregnant. I’m usually on the floor working with all the residents but sometimes I get one on one duty with this one resident. I can’t say anything about her condition, besides that she gets very aggressive, no one ever wants to do her one on one so I get stuck with it. Now don’t get me wrong this resident can be very lovely it’s just she has her off days. Last time I was with her she tripped and but I was able to steady her before she actually fell, well she got very mad at me for touching her and she punched me in the stomach and left a bruise. I almost quit that day. I help her sit down and I walked away bawling my eyes out. The other psw on my floor told the nurse what happened and I was allowed to leave early. I had my 16 week ultrasound two days later and the baby is fine but I told my boss what happened and told her I refuse to do anymore one on one with this resident but guess what the scheduled me for today. One on one with this resident. I so badly want to call in but my shift starts in 1 hour. I don’t know what I’m going to do if she punches my stomach again. Probably quit.
