Teaching about race...

I am white and my husband is Mexican, born and raised. Even though he has dark skin he has only started dealing with racism since he moved to the US. We have 2 kids (3 and 1) and both of them have dark skin also. I have already experienced people being racist toward my kids and it drives me insane! I have always treated people with kindness and whenever I saw racism I would call the people out on it.

So my question is how do u teach ur kids that people r gonna be nasty just because of skin color?

And as a parent how do u control urself to not punch the racist people around?!?! Cause I seriously cannot deal with that level of ignorance!!
