possible VBAC this time?

I had a csection 6 years ago... what are my chances for having a natural birth this time around? I’m SUPER nervous to give birth naturally because I don’t know what to expect but I really don’t want to have another csection. What all would it depend on? My cervix? Scar tissue? The baby?

I got pregnant six months after my first daughter was born via c section, I hated recovering from a c section and I just had to find a doctor that was really willing to take the risk on me. I was high risk because of how close the pregnancies were, because of the c section, but she fought for me and her and I had discussed it. “If it doesn’t work, we’ll just do a c section anyway, so why not try” was basically her mindset, in a good way! My second daughter was born successfully vaginally, and I’m so thankful to my doctor for that. 
Long story short, find a doctor who is willing to fight for you!

when this baby comes it will be just about 3 years from my c section. my doctor wants me to try for a vbac bc I want to have more kids. they've said that around 65-70% of women who try have a successful vbac. So there's still a chance I'll end up needing another c section bc I guess im just going in with the same attitude I did with my first. attempt labor, hope for the best, prepare mentally for the possibility of a c section anyway.

I had a successful vbac 2 years ago. My doctor said what made me a good candidate was that I went into labor on my own the first time, that labor progressed well (until preeclampsia took over + baby getting stuck), and during the vbac pregnancy i never had so much as elevated blood pressure and was healthier overall. So I wasnt likely to have the issues I had before. I was nervous, but my doctor assured me time and time again that it was the best choice for me. Everybody's circumstances are different, some women are good candidates and some aren't. Safety is what is most important.

i had a csection 5 yrs ago. my ob said i could try vbac,  if i go into labor on my own. my ob will not induce if u have had a csection. also depends on your reason for having a csection the 1st time!

possible VBAC this time?
